Advanced Construction

CURV® Composite Thigh Rise: Each thigh section is reinforced with high-performance, ultra-light CURV® composite, ensuring rigid 5-hole coverage and an optimal pad seal. Unlike traditional impact-resistant materials like ABS plastic, polycarbonate, and fiberglass, CURV® composite offers superior resistance to cracking, deforming, and splintering, even in low temperatures.

Rebound Boost Core Padding: Familiar from previous Vapor models, this core is designed with springy Rebound Boost foam, generating quick and powerful puck rebounds off the pads.

Thigh Flex Options

• Thin Core with Soft, Dynamic Flex (Stock): Bauer’s Profile 1 features a soft-mid flex below the knee, progressively softening above the knee. Ideal for goalies who prefer a thin pad with strong rebounds but want more flexibility compared to Bauer’s Supreme series.
• Mid-Flex with 151° Squared Profile (Shadow): Inspired by the Supreme Shadow series, this build offers increased stiffness and wide post-to-post coverage. Softer than the previous Supreme Mach model, but it maintains Supreme’s wide 151° butterfly while allowing for extra thigh flexibility.

Outer Material & Stability

S.L.1.D.3.R. Skin: Carried over from the HyperLite 2 pads, this thermoformed one-piece skin is designed to balance durability and pop while keeping weight low.

Rebound Edge: A low-profile outer roll runs along the pad’s edge down to the boot, helping maintain the pad’s shape and minimizing the risk of skipping over the ice during lateral movements.

Calf & Knee Support

StabiliFlex Knee Block: Directly integrated into the pad and layered with Bauer’s combination of synthetic suede and grip-enhancing Stabili-Grip material. Compared to the StabiliSlide block found on Supreme pads, StabiliFlex keeps the knee more centered while allowing extra flexibility between the knee and the pad’s core.

BalancePlate Calf Support System: A single-bracket design that balances stability and flex more effectively than the Supreme series’ double-bracket system. A streamlined calf plate meets the ice, complemented by a small calf pillow that eliminates negative space and enhances stability in the butterfly position.

Fit & Comfort

SLYD TuneFit Strapping: A low-profile strapping system that allows goalies to fine-tune tension across both the upper and lower calf for a custom fit.

Reactive-Flex 100° Flat Boot: The FlyLite pads’ 100° Reactive-Flex boot offers a more ergonomic fit compared to Bauer’s 120° Supreme boot. A softer flex allows for easier, more precise ankle movements, while the added thickness helps with tighter rebound control at the posts.

Toe Options

• Centered Toe Box with Kurim Elastic Ties (Stock): Provides a tighter feel at the skates, enhancing precision in movements while maintaining some ankle flexibility. Secured with durable Kurim polyurethane hook-and-loop fastenings for added durability.
• Centered Toe Box with Leather Elastic Ties (Supreme): Same toe box and elastic cords as the Vapor ties, but fastened with traditional leather straps for a more classic feel and increased durability.

Redesigned from the popular HyperLite 2 glove, the Vapor FLYLite maintains an ultra-light feel while expanding the pocket by 5%—all without sacrificing its signature smooth Vapor closure.

Construction

• CURV® Composite Cuff: An ultra-light reinforcement that enhances durability and pop without adding weight. Unlike traditional materials like ABS plastic, polycarbonate, and fiberglass, CURV® composite offers superior resistance to cracking, deformation, and splintering, even in low temperatures.
• CURV® Reinforced Palm: Provides additional protection at the highest levels of play, reinforcing the glove’s palm for maximum durability.
• Poron® with Rebound Control Foam: Upgraded padding replaces Defense Cloud Tech and previous rebound foams, offering increased protection and durability without unnecessary bulk.

Webbing Options

• Fused Double-T Web (Stock): New for 2025, the 'Fused T' design expands the top of the pocket by 5%, providing a reinforced structure for enhanced durability and consistent closure.
• Single-T Web: A slightly narrower pocket with a more responsive, snappy closure for goalies who prefer a quicker catch.

Break Options

• Vapor Glove Break (Stock): Modeled after the popular 590 break, it offers a smooth, whole-hand closure from the fingertips to mid-thumb.
• Vapor 90 Glove Break: A pro-favorite design that funnels pucks into the pocket, closing over the palm with a fingers-to-palm thumb overlap.

Palm Options

• Game Ready Palm (Stock): Designed for goalies who want minimal break-in time, offering comfort and flexibility right out of the box.
• Pro Palm: Adds 3mm of extra padding across the palm and fingers for goalies facing elite-level shooters, increasing protection while maintaining feel.

Fit & Comfort

• Connekt+ Liner with CatchGrip: A moisture-resistant synthetic suede liner with fine embossing for a comfortable, controlled grip. Enhanced with CatchGrip, a high-tack material across the fingers for extra security.

Strapping & Adjustability

• Exposed Wrist Strap: A breathable, plush lining secures the glove with an adjustable webbing pull strap. The exposed wrist strap extends out of the cuff for quick, on-ice adjustments.
• Customizable Backhand Fit: Adjustable hook-and-loop straps at the knuckles, fingers, and wrist allow goalies to fine-tune their fit for maximum comfort and control.
